Humanity is facing complex and pressing challenges ranging from climate change and biodiversity loss, to antibiotic resistance and pandemics. All these challenges requries collective action at an unprecedented scale. If we are serious about trying to manage those challenges we need to change, and we all have a role to play. At Sustainio we believe that knowledge has the power to change behavior and alter decisions necessary to achieve a more sustainable future. We are committed to bring evidence-based knowledge about collective action to classrooms all over the world through pedagogical digital tools and research-based instruction materials to students and teachers.

Sverker Jagers

Professor at the Department of Political Science at the University of Gothenburg and director of CeCAR (Centre for Collective Action Research). Sverker’s research is mainly focused on various aspects of environmental politics, and he has an extensive publication record and have written several books. Sverker is an appreciated presenter and advisor.

Åsa Löfgren

Associate Professor at the Department of Economics, University of Gothenburg. Åsa is an expert in the area of climate economics with specific focus on policy instruments. She has published numerous articles in international peer-reviewed journals, as well as book chapters, policy papers and reports. She has served as a board member of the Swedish Climate Policy Council and has been appointed an expert in several research boards.
